ABOUT ANDRE APPARICIO

Andre Apparicio is a community organizer with many years of experience working with the second chance population. Andre has most notably assisted hundreds of justice-involved individuals to gain meaningful employment and guided them to pursue educational opportunities. Formerly incarcerated himself, Andre shifted his energy from that of a negative to a positive force. In 2017, he started a non-profit to help the justice involved be better prepared to adjust to life outside of prison. Mr. Apparicio previously worked as a Program Developer for an outpatient treatment program he started as an intern and is a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. Andre has received numerous awards for the work he does nationwide to support those with justice involvement and his continued efforts to prevent youth from incarceration through mentorship and workshops. Andre is now the Program Manager of the Office of Second Chance Employment which helps justice-involved individuals gain employment in 3 separate airports.
